Chemicals Prescribed To Children As Young As Six

What is wrong with this picture?

ADHD drugs prescribed to millions of children are causing them to experience frightening hallucinations. ADHD drugs, are powerful psychotropic mind-altering chemicals that are often the same as street drugs.

These mind-altering medication drugs reviewed in this study included:

  • Ritalin
  • Focalin XR (Novartis),
  • Adderall XR and Daytrana patch (Shire),
  • Concerta (Johnson & Johnson),
  • Strattera (Eli Lilly),
  • Metadate CD (Celltech Pharmaceuticals)
  • Provigil (Cephalon).

In my opinion parents who allow their children to be drugged with these hallucinogenic ADHD drugs are just as much a part of the problem as the FDA, Big Pharma and modern psychiatrists that are doing everything in their power to put kids on these dangerous drugs.

Probably if it wasn’t for all the vaccinations that are push on children they wouldn’t be having these problems in the first place, scare tactics the this and that diseases is coming back…vaccinate…vaccinate. Sure they are coming back because they keep putting it into people’s veins or down their throat in pill form.

Reuters reports that “…FDA researchers urged doctors to discuss the potential side effects with parents and children to help ease their anxiety if such symptoms should occur”. How asinine is that? Children on these drugs hallucinated that snakes and bugs were crawling all over them, says Reuters, and some kids taking the drugs experience other bizarre psychotic side effects such as thinking they ran into a wall and falling to the ground even when no wall was present.

The industry is virtually owned by Big Pharma and in my opinion with the FDA in their pockets are pushing these hallucinogenic ADHD drugs for profit. They are also pushing drugs for the family dog did you know that the Big Pharma lobbied the FDA for the approval of antidepressant drugs for dogs, and in February, 2007, the FDA approved Prozac for dogs. Because, apparently, dogs have “chemical imbalances in their brain” requiring treatment with patented synthetic chemicals, just like children and adults, right? Give me a break.

Big Pharma May be Handed Blanket Immunity for All Drug Side Effects, Deaths
The Supreme Court may rule that pharmaceutical companies cannot be sued for dangerous or even deadly side effects from their drugs if those side effects arise from an FDA-approved use.

If they know that the drugs they push causes certain side effects and maybe death they should be held accountable. Maybe that way they would be putting crap on the market that does more harm then good.

TV Commercials Playing On The Emotions Of Pet Owners

The sad part of this is that, there really are a lot of gullible pet parents that will see commercials like these and believe them. Look at these ”special treats” and read the ingredients, then below that read what the ingredients really mean.

Beef, Meat Byproducts, Soy Grits, Sugar, Liver, Salt, Propylene Glycol, Garlic Powder, Caramel Color, Natural Smoke Flavor, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Nitrite, Red 40, BHA, Onion Extract

Using The Super Bowl GameTo Sell Dog Food

Beside watching the Super Bowl on Feb. 1st, many people always look forward to the TV commercials. Which they vote on, talk about the next day at the water cooler and so on. Don’t fall for this advertising strategy for selling dog food

The sad part is this year a certain dog food companythat makes (Pedigree) will be trying to pull at the heart strings of people by using “The Pedigree Adoption Drive”. Supporting your local animals shelters is a good thing, buying a dog food because you watched a commercial that played on your emotions is not.

You should buy your pet food and treats based on the quality of ingredients not emotion. The Super Bowl commercial is sure to tug on the hearts of people, that is the whole idea behind it. If you feel compelled to help the poor needy animals in shelters make a donation to your local animal shelter or visit and adopt one and really make a difference in a pets life.

This is just a new way pet food companies will use to deceive people, more will jump on the band wagon…Don’t fall for it.

The Wall Street Journal reports Pedigree is trying a ‘trick’ used by many other big advertisers. Rather than a direct sales commercial pitching it’s dog food, WSJ reports that Pedigree’s Super Bowl commercial will be pushing a cause instead; pet adoption. “The advertising strategy of promoting a cause instead of peddling one’s wares more directly in tough times — especially in such a fiercely competitive product category — could fall short.” Read the full article here:

Pedigree Pet Foods, made by Mars Petcare, have been reported to have numerous problems over the past year or so. The ConsumerAffairs.com website reports many

Nutro Pet Foods, also made by Mars Petcare, have been reported to have numerous problems over the past year or so. The ConsumerAffairs.com website reports many.

Other recalls by Mars Petcare Products affected include Old Roy Dog Food, Pedigree Dog Food, Special Kitty Cat Food and several lesser known brands. Mars Petcare

These are just a few, when choosing your pet’s food don’t fall for every commercial you see on TV with cute little puppies or the sad and pitiful animals in shelters.

My point is why would anyone put their trust in this kind of track record. The money that it takes to run ads durning the Super Bowl is very costly. They could give that money to the shelters instead of trying to captialize on heart felt emotions in my opinion.

The quality and freshness of ingredients, where the products are manufactured, how long they are stored before they are sold on the market makes a huge difference.

Periodontal Disease In Older Pets

Periodontal disease is quite common, especially in older pets. Contrary to popular belief, dental disease doesn’t just affect our older pets, but puppies and kittens, too. Dental disease can destroy all of the supporting structures of the mouth. Periodontal disease can also seep into the bloodstream affecting other parts of the body and making a pet ill.

Plaque and tartar is made up of mostly harmful bacteria. If allowed to build up and cause gingivitis and other forms of disease in the oral cavity the bacteria and its toxins will enter the body via the bleeding gums and can wreak havoc on the heart, kidneys, liver, and even the brain.

Possible signs of dental disease:

-Bad breath
-Discolored teeth
-Red or swollen gums
-Loss of teeth
-Difficulty in chewing and eating
-Weight loss
-Broken or missing teeth
-Nasal discharge
-Blood in the saliva
-Drooling
-Tearing or swelling below one eye

Natural pet care can begin with simply brushing your pets teeth.  Introduce you pet slowly. For the first few times don’t use a tooth brush. Use your finger and gently rub the outside of their cheeks. After they are comfortable with that wrap your finger with a piece of gauze and gently start rubbing their teeth.

Finger Toothbrushs are great they slip over your finger, making them quick and easy to use. They massage the gum, while gently removing plaque and debris, and easily reach difficult areas of the mouth. Great for puppies and kittens.

This is a picture of my Grand-Doggy Bailey’s teeth and smile.

This is what healthy teeth and gum’s should look like.

Bailey is a big beautiful dog and loves a bath and to get his teeth clean.

Brushing is the best means for dental care and would be good if you could do this at least twice a week. In reality we know that in most busy families that isn’t going to happen so we need to find other ways to keep your pets mouth healthy.

China Wants Pet Food Regulations

This is due to the recent deaths of more than 300 dogs due to contaminated food. To me this is long over due.

Huang Ching-jung, secretary-general of the Animal Protection Association of the Republic of China, told a news conference that test results released by the National Taiwan University (NTU) animal hospital had confirmed an earlier report by the Council of Agriculture (COA) that 200 dogs in a dog shelter in Bali, Taipei County, died last week after eating aflatoxin-contaminated food.

Aflatoxin, which is produced by mold, usually causes liver damage. Another 100 dogs at the Sanjhih stray dog shelter in Taipei County also died around the same time.

Huang said the association has asked other private institutes to conduct tests and found that the content of the food could reach as high as 630 parts per billion (ppb), noting that if the content is over 60 ppb, it will pose health risks to dogs.

The government should draft a rule to regulate the pet food industry, Huang said, noting that tests on aflatoxin, melamine and pesticide should be part of the regulation.

Here is the rest of the story: http://www.etaiwannews.com/etn/news_content.php?id=832899&lang=eng_news

They need to test everything not only what they use but what they ship out also including human and pet products…What do you think?

On January 14 2009 Reuters reported that the Chinese food and drug makers are also struggling from a declining economy. One official is concerned manufacturers could be tempted to cut corners and ignore quality standards and is telling the world, things could get worse. So what else is new here is the rest of the story. http://www.reuters.com/article/latestCrisis/idUSPEK346481

With this news the FDA should be watching China’s imports very carefully…don’t you think?

Remember the China Infant Milk that was tainted with melamine? The former chairwoman was sentenced to life in prison and three others received death sentences. Read the story here. http://edition.cnn.com/2009/WORLD/asiapcf/01/22/china.tainted.milk/index.html?eref=edition

The other Chinese that were involved in the tainted pet food that had melamine received the same treatment. In my opinion we should do the same to the people here that uses ingredients that they know will harm us or our pets whether it is in our food or the drugs they push.

Chinese Imports are used in almost 900 different cat foods, dog foods, and pet treats. How scary is that?

Do Pet Food Companies Care About Your Pets

Do you think all pet food companies cares about your pets? Take a look at this let me warn you the picture is really gross this incident was with Beneful Dog Food a Purina product with maggots

Purina explanation, “As soon as our food leaves our factory, it is no longer our responsibility.” Then who responsibility for it? Most commercial pet food is made in bulk and stored in warehouses 6 to 18 months before it ever reaches the store shelf. So who would be held responsible the company who made it or the company who is selling it?

What if everything you purchased for your pet was made by a company that truly cared about every food or product they produced? Wouldn’t it be great to purchase items from a company that stood behind what they made, that cared about every distribution aspect and every ingredient? They are out there, and HealthyPetNet is one of them.

Without even knowing what food you currently use, I can tell you that Life’s Abundance is completely different.

First, All the products are manufactured in a USDA facility, with USA ingredients.

Second, they do not sell their foods in your local pet food stores. The reason is that most foods become spoiled or tainted by unsafe distribution practices. Most foods are kept in trucks or warehouses with no climate control for up to 8 months or longer. This is why they ship Fresh to your door.

Third, they never use less than human quality ingredients. Most pet foods still use ingredients that are unfit for human consumption. This helps keep their costs down, but it costs your pet their good health.

Fourth, they are constantly upgrading their foods with the latest in health technology. For example, they use Live Pro-Biotics to support intestinal health, Chelated Minerals for better absorption, Meats with no hormones or steroids, fresh fruits and vegetables, USDA manufacturing facilities, and more

Here are just a few of the procedures that they follow to provide pets with a safe and nutritious product.

All ingredients are individually inspected for human quality and carry the APHIS certification (a European standard for human quality ingredients)

Every vendor must supply an ‘assurance statement’ with each shipment. This statement must provide nutritional quality of ingredient provided AND must state it is free from any mold, bacteria, and so forth.

The ingredients are tested AGAIN before manufacturing to make sure the quality is as stated AND it meets their standards. The product is tested 3 times during the manufacturing process – to again to assure everything is ‘as it should be’.

The product is tested again after manufacturing and again when it arrives at the warehouse. One bag of food is kept at the warehouse – from each batch – to test in case a Customer has a problem or concern with the product. Each ‘one bag’ from each batch is kept for 6 months.

The products are shipped directly from the warehouse to the Customer – no middleman warehousing (concerns of proper storage and pest control).

The best thing is that they know who bought what and when, you are not just someone that walked into a store and bought a bag of food. If something should happen you would be notified directly by them asap not months down the road.

You won’t have to worry about that they have very high standards and have been in business for over 10 years and never had any product recalled. Now that’s saying something. Trilogy/HealthyPetNet

Vaccines, Cancer, Pet Food and Pet Supplements

Every year more and more Vets are asked to treat dogs and cats for cancer. The pets that are being brought to them for cancer treatment are much younger than ever before. There have been plenty of recent studies to confirm these findings, and it’s a fact.

Veterinarians are also seeing a lot more pets with allergies, a lot more skin and gum disease, arthritis, kidney problems… and especially auto-immune diseases – diseases in which a dog’s own immune system turns on them and begins attacking their healthy blood and skin.

Many of these deadly and painful diseases were almost non-existent 10 to 20 years ago. Why is this happening?

There are 3 MAJOR CAUSES..And some very important information that you can do to decrease the likelihood of Cancer affecting your dog or cat.

1. OVER-VACCINATION..vaccinate with as little and as infrequent as possible.

Discover The TRUTH about Pet Vaccines  the Side Effects Of Vaccines and the Alternatives To Vaccines

Find out What you SHOULD give to your dog or cat – and what to AVOID

MOST Veterinarians are STILL giving multivalent vaccines EVERY year- in spite of research documenting the HARMFUL effects of these vaccines. (They get paid a commission for every shot they give.)

2. ENVIRONMENTAL TOXINS..Avoid what you can, such as;

Harmful flea and tick treatments, learn the natural options to use instead.

Heartworm Preventatives: there alternatives to regular preventatives. and so much more…

3. POOR QUALITY FOOD…ONLY feed quality food..NOT only Kibble. Supplement your dog or cat.

The most important thing that you can do for your dog and cat to keep them healthy and PREVENT disease is to feed quality dog food and quality cat food.

Ones without any of the following;

  • Chemical Preservatives – BHA, Ethoxyquin
  • By – Products – beaks, feet, feathers, heads
  • Corn, Wheat, or Soy – known allergens
  • Artificial Coloring
  • Flavor Beef fat – Indigestible fat
  • Sugars or Corn Syrup
  • Animal Digest -guts

It’s time to stop trusting the your pet to anyone who makes a pet food.

So let me say again Supplements for your dog or cat to give them a better life and feed quality dog food and quality cat food

Salmonella Is Taking A Toll On Peanut Butter Products.

Salmonella is taking a toll on peanut butter products. You just never know what is going to be recalled next. One would think with everything going on these companies would take more care in producing their products and testing everything that goes into their product before and after it is made. It would save them money and their companies reputation in the long run. Plus it wouldn’t put the stress on us when it comes to trying to figure out what is or not safe to eat. Or feed our pets also.
