Your dog has eaten some chocolate.
How do you know if he or she has eaten too much?
Chocolate contain theobromine and is neurotoxic to dogs and cats so it should not be giving to them but sometimes if your dogs are like mine they will find out where you hid your stash.
Here are some signs to look for if they have eaten a lot of chocolate:
- vomiting
- diarrhea
- excessive panting
- restlessness
- increased urination
- muscle tremors
If your pet is showing any of these symptoms you might want to call your vet to be on the safe side.
