Safety Pet Tips for Halloween

Happy Halloween to You and Your Pets.

halloween dogs

Halloween candy is for people, not pets. Chocolate, for example, can be deadly to pets. Keep your pets away from candy wrappers, tin foil, cellophane candy wrappers and lollipop sticks which can get lodged in their digestive tracts and cause injury or even death. There are many safe pet treats available to have on hand and many recipes for making homemade dog and cat treats.

Thanksgiving Treats For Your Pets Instead Of Turkey

During this time of year, our pets generally spend more mealtimes with friends and family.  You should make a special effort to alert guests at holiday meals that they should not share their food with your four legged kids.

Even though they may believe they are giving them a special reward, they could be putting your pet in danger with foods that we eat every day.  For instance, dogs and cats should never eat garlic, onions, avocado, macadamia nuts, caffeine or chocolate (you probably already knew that last one).

The very best way to reward your dog or cat is to feed them a treat specially formulated to not only please them, but also to help improve their health as well.  I’ve yet to meet a dog or a cat who doesn’t enjoy at least one of our nourishing and tasty snacks.

Antioxidants … Anti-Aging Solutions For Your Dog

Antioxidants are nature’s secret weapons against your dog getting heart disease, cancer, diabetes or liver disease. They rustproof your dog’s body from cellular oxidation. Oxidation is like when a sliced apple turns browns from air exposure.

Benefits of antioxidants:

Rejuvenate your dog’s heart, Maximize your dog’s brain power, Strengthen your dog’s immune system, Reverse your dog’s aging process, Increase longevity, Gives skin a healthy glow, Help prevent cataracts, Fight infection and disarms free radicals, Helps reduce arthritis pain.

antioxidant Thanksgiving Treats For Your Pets Instead Of TurkeyYou can add nutrition with antioxidants to your dog’s regimen and know that they have a much better chance of being around for a long long time. As the new year is upon us, isn’t it time to improve your dog’s health? What a great gift that would be.

A stronger coat will result in less hair being swallowed during normal grooming. The feline-friendly nuggets and savory flavor are appealing to even the most finicky of cats. Treat Your Cat to Better Health Naturally with Gourmet Cat Treats

At HealthyPetNet, they approach their treats differently than their competitors. When they formulate snacks, they treat them as important vehicles for nutrition and pleasure. They do not create pet products simply on measures of taste or texture.

May your Thanksgiving be blessed with the bounty of the season, love of friends and family and the harvest of smiles and the tail wagging of your pets.
